South Indian Food

In normal South Indian Food, you can find the combination of six different taste. As a tradition we use to follow the same without knowing the real scientific facts in it. Lot of medicinal values also available in the regular South Indian food. South Indian food must have sweet, sour, salt, pungent, bitter and astringent in proper proposition. These six taste will stimulate twelve internal organs which are responsible for preparing glucose and insulin to be prepared and mixed in blood. Because the major factor for all disease is low level of glucose in blood and low secretion of insulin.  Let we see in detail how they interlink with each other.


Idly is dish that comes to mind when speaking of south Indian food. Idly with the side dish total got these six different taste. Sambar, Rasam and so on. Even if don't find all these taste in one food, try have the other taste food as side crumbs. 


Salt:
Internal organ - Kidney and Urinary Bladder
External organ - Ear
Sense/Feelings - Fear


Having too much or low amount of salt will spoil Kidney and Urinary bladder. Which in turn affects the function of ear. When we pain in ears having little salt in mouth will give a relief. And also the shape of the ears and Kidney replecates the same. If the kidney/Urinary bladder gets affect it also affects ears, and also increases the feel of fear within us.


Sour:
Internal organ - Liver and Gal Bladder
External organ - Eyes
Sense/Feelings - Anger


Having too much of or low amount of sour taste will spoil Liver and Gal bladder. Which in turn affects the function of eyes. Whenever eyes goes red then there might be some problem with liver or gal bladder. The best example is when over consumed alcohol then the very next day Eyes becomes reddish in color, this is because of the over function of the Liver.  


Sweet:
Internal organ - Stomach and Spleen
External organ - Lips and mouth
Sense/feelings - Sadness


Pungent:
Internal organ - Lungs and Large intestine
External organ - Nose
Sense/feelings - Sorrow


Astringent and Bitter:
Internal organ  - Small intestine, Heart, Pericardium
External organ - Tongue 
Sense/feelings  - Happiness
